Hubert Michalak
Executive Vice PresidentHillwood’s Managing Director for the Eastern and Central Europe region and Executive Vice President.
Hubert has been involved in the real estate market for over 20 years. He has comprehensive knowledge in the field of investment processes, designing, financing and rental of warehouse space, as well as real estate management and sales.
In 2014, Hubert opened a Hillwood branch in Warsaw and subsequently assembled a team of experts capable of successfully navigating the ever-evolving commercial landscape. Hubert’s efforts have resulted in over a billion euros worth of investments and modern warehouse projects with a combined area of almost 2 million square metres.
Over the course of seven years, Hillwood Polska has overseen the management of a portfolio encompassing two million square metres, which have been occupied by more than 250 tenants.
Prior to joining Hillwood, Hubert was a partner at AIG/Lincoln, a real estate acquisition, rental and sales company involved in the management of multifunctional projects in Europe. Before that, he worked for Viterra Development, a real estate developer operating in Poland and Germany.
Jan Kaliński
Head of Business DevelopmentJan joined Hillwood Polska in 2015 and is currently Head of Business Development. Jan manages the leasing department and is responsible for acquiring tenants and running development projects. He has over 16 years of experience in the warehouse and industrial real estate market. During his career, he has been responsible for the commercialization of over 2 million square metres. Between 2006 and 2015, he was the leasing manager at the AIG / Lincoln joint venture (now White Star Real Estate), which develops, leases and manages a portfolio of multifunctional assets in key European markets. Jan graduated from Kozminski University in Warsaw with a master’s degree in management and marketing.
Tomasz Jaroszewski
Vice President Legal & TransactionsTomasz joined the Hillwood team in 2016 and is currently Vice President (Legal & Transactions). He is in charge of managing general compliance, overseeing the work of the team of internal lawyers and external law firms, and managing purchase, sale, and financing transactions.
Tomasz has over 10 years of professional experience in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Hillwood, he worked in law firms and consulting companies, including Clifford Chance, SKS and PwC.
Tomasz has led real estate sales transactions worth nearly EUR 2 billion, covering countries such as Poland, Germany and the UK. Furthermore, as part of his work on financing Hillwood projects, he has closed credit agreements worth EUR 1.5 billion.
A graduate of Law at Wrocław University and an attorney at the Warsaw Bar Association, Tomasz is also a graduate of the Wrocław University of Economics specialising in international business.
Damian Słaby
Finance DirectorDamian dołączył do zespołu Hillwood Polska w 2017 roku i odpowiada za pion finansowy, w tym m.in za analizę ekonomiczną projektów, planowanie finansowe, asset management, zarządzanie płynnością oraz raportowanie do inwestorów.
Przed dołączeniem do Hillwood pracował dla Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (w Polsce i w Niemczech) oraz w dziale Doradztwa Biznesowego EY.
Absolwent Szkoły Głównej Handlowej w Warszawie oraz Wydziału Zarządzania Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Posiada tytuł ACCA oraz MBA.
Renata Michalczyk
Asset Management DirectorRenata joined the Hillwood Polska team in 2021 and is in charge of managing the property portfolios of Hillwood and its partner entities in Poland as well as keeping investors informed.
Renata has more than 20 years of experience in real estate management. Prior to joining Hillwood, she was Head of Property Management Europe at Prologis.
Renata is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, Faculty of Management and Marketing.
Piotr Łada
Head of Project ManagementPiotr has been working with Hillwood since 2017. Currently, he is Head of Project Management, responsible for project implementation. Piotr also manages and supervises the construction delivery process, ensuring that customers’ expectations are met.
He has over 20 years of international experience in investment processes and in delivering high-tech industrial facilities.
Piotr’s management remit encompasses large projects as well as project portfolios. While holding the position of director and president of the board between 2001 and 2015, he was responsible for the business development and operations of international enterprises in the design and implementation sector for the high-tech industry. He has also consulted with international corporations on the implementation and management of large capital projects as well as on investment operations crisis management.
A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Gdańsk University of Technology, Piotr also completed MBA studies conducted by GFKM in Gdańsk in cooperation with RSM Erasmus University and the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.
Grzegorz Hasny
Director Asset and Property ManagementGrzegorz joined the Hillwood Polska team in 2015 and is currently the director of asset and property management. In addition to other duties, Grzegorz oversees and coordinates the property management department. He works closely with the department in charge of development projects.
Grzegorz has over 20 years of experience in managing warehouse, industrial and office properties. During his career, he has been responsible for managing properties with a combined area of over 3 million square metres. Prior to that, he worked for 13 years as a senior property manager at the AIG/Lincoln joint venture (now White Star Real Estate), which builds, leases and manages a portfolio of real estate in Poland and key markets in Europe.
In addition to his many years of experience in the real estate industry, Grzegorz holds a Real Estate Manager Certificate, Real Estate Broker Certificate and an NYU certificate in accounting.
Marta Kołodziejska
Marketing & Communications ManagerMarta joined the Hillwood team in 2019 and is the marketing and communications manager. She is responsible for developing and implementing Hillwood’s marketing and communication strategy.
Marta specialises in digital marketing and has been in charge of marketing projects on the commercial real estate market for over 14 years. She is constantly developing her skills and knowledge, especially in the field of new technologies, solutions and trends in marketing and digital marketing.
Prior to joining the Hillwood team, she worked for Goodman Polska (now GLP), a warehouse developer, managing its marketing and communication activities in Poland.
Marta has a background in management and marketing and has obtained qualifications in brokerage and real estate management through postgraduate studies.
